Heritage in Design.
Anita Arzé drew upon her cultural heritage and the craftsmanship of Bolivian knitting to build and inspire the socially and environmentally conscious Arzé luxury clothing line. Anita marries the traditions of South American garments with modern fit and silhouettes. The Arzé collections are made with materials such as alpaca and pima cotton for her hand knits and hand wovens, and organic cotton and hemp for her basics. Anita creates sustainable fashion with a mission to drive employment in the developing world.
Previously, Arzé worked for Oscar De La Renta, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, and Donna Karan while in New York City. When she returned to Los Angeles, she started a sportswear brand called “Talking to Angels” that was distributed in the US, Canada, the UK and Japan. She has worked on private label design and manufacturing for Urban Outfitters and smaller green brands. Arzé is a result of her diverse background and experience in all things creative and design, with a focus on conscious clothing and practices.
